The ol' gallery page looks a little weak with all of the anime/manga wallpaper gone, doesn't it? I'll be the first to tell you that my art is crude, sloppy, and all around uninspired; thank you for not telling me so on a daily basis.
Maybe I'll find time to work on my skills. Maybe I'll get better, maybe I won't. Maybe I'll turn into a walnut.

I decided to backup and delete all of the wallpaper deviations that did not contain my own, crappy artwork on my space here in order to comply with the DeviantArt rules. In the future, all of the wallpaper that I've worked on will be found at my website at shoujorobot.com. Sorry if it's caused any inconvienience, but I understand how DA feels.

here's another total newbie to the community, try not to throw me to the wolves..

so far i've uploaded my back catalog of wallpapers; some i consider neat, some i consider absolutely crappy. they're all up in the name of completion, though.

when i make a wallpaper, it's mostly for personal reasons. i get an idea for one, and i eventually make it. when i do, i would put a link to it from my livejournal and my website for my friends to use if they like. what i'm trying to say is that i don't make wallpaper to impress people or to have a large collection from series that i know nothing about, or just for bragging rights. please feel free to use any of them as long as you don't alter them. but i didn't have to tell you that ^^

about my so-called design skills: i'm self-taught and still learning. i feel that i have good taste and an excellent eye for art but that unfortunately doesn't make me a good artist or designer. i never want to come off as a pretentious elitist.
